Warning: How not to seduce a man

If you want to be seen as seductive there are a few things to keep in mind. Besides the obvious dress—either revealing or otherwise—which should not shout, “look at me” you need to be careful about a few behavioural habits to avoid. Also these are things you should be aware of on your first or second date when you are still getting to know one another. Try and go slow, that will give you more time to process the guy and whether or not you would continue to date him/her.

Blood red lipstick
Sure, that deep blood red lipstick works, but something less in your face, would also appeal to the opposite sex. A clear skin or complexion, well manicured nails (long talons are passé) waxed legs and arms, goes without saying, and freshly washed and styled hair are important cues to be seductive.




Not lighting up
Smoking may seem chic when you are trying to brainstorm an idea with the guys on the canteen floor but when you are out of a date with a special guy, refrain from lighting up. In fact make sure your mouth or hair doesn’t smell of smoke as that’s can be a turnoff. Remember even if the guy is thinking of giving you a goodnight peck on the cheek, he may stop himself.

Burp or fart
Letting out gas is a big no-no. Make sure you eat well before your date and you are not starving or hungry, as also don’t stuff yourself with gassy foods because that smell can’t escape anywhere when there’s just the two of you.

Spit
Even when you are super excited, make sure you talk slowly and gently and not go like the Durant express. Sometimes, when you tend to speak too fast or loud, you may tend to spit and that can be a big turnoff too. If you think you can’t control it, be aware of your speaking and be armed with a handkerchief at all times.

Physical contact
Touching each other even gently on the arm or shoulder to prove a point or hugging to say goodbye can avoided or left to the minimum. Try aloof instead of being familiar. Someone who seems unattainable will in fact make herself more attractive to the opposite sex.
