Settlement Reached in Kim Kardashian’s Divorce Case

The warring pair have finally reached a settlement - all they need to do now is sign the papers

Kim Kardashian has finally settled her bitter divorce dispute with ex-husband Kris Humphries after 536 days of accusations and acrimony. 
 
Details of the 32-year-old TV personality's settlement with basketball ace Kris are yet to be disclosed, but during a short Los Angeles hearing on Friday (April 19) a judge officially approved their divorce after agreeing that prolonged settlement talks had finally led to the warring couple reaching an adequate resolution.

According to Access Hollywood the divorce will become absolute once the relevant legal documents are signed by both parties.

For once, heavily pregnant Kim dressed appropriately in a roomy black maternity dress as she made her way to the hearing, although her New York based ex was nowhere to be seen.

According to TMZ, the Brooklyn Nets star is preparing for the NBA play-offs with his team-mates, while contrasting reports swirl around the internet regarding whether or not his attendance at the hearing was in fact mandatory.

Up until recently Kris had demanded an annulment – and a hefty $7 million – after claiming Kim duped him into a fraudulent marriage, but backed down due to the lack of evidence supporting his claims.

Back in 2010, when the going was good

Kim and Kris tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Montecito on August 20 2010, but shortly after a romantic honeymoon on Italy's Amalfi Coast their marriage was on the rocks, with Kim submitting divorce papers just 72-days after saying I Do - citing irreconcilable differences as a motive for the split.

The reality TV star is currently expecting her first child with current beau Kanye West. The tot, understood to be a girl, is due in June.
