Zambia’s President Guy Scott Becomes First White President of Post-Colonial Africa

Guy Scott, previously vice president under the recently deceased former Zambian President, Michael Sata, 77, has officially been appointed as Acting President of Zambia, making him the First White President of Post-Colonial Africa.

Guy Scott will serve for 90 days until elections are held for a new president. Scott, who is of Scottish descent, is however, ineligible to be elected president because his parents were not born in Zambia.
