Four Nigerian teenage girls create urine-powered generator in Lagos


With the intermittent scarcity of petrol and the ongoing national debate on whether or not to scrap the subsidy on petroleum products, which will see a further hike in price of the products, this news will come as a relief to many, especially in Nigeria.

According to a report on RisingAfrica.org, four teenage girls figured out a way to use a liter of urine as fuel to get six hours of electricity from their generator.

According to Huzlers.com,a Chicago doctor has been arrested for allegedly telling all his patients that they were HIV positive as an April Fools joke.

Dr. Prince Johnson, A local Chicago Doctor was arrested today after suspicion of giving patients false HIV test results. Patients and NURSES began getting suspicious after 16 patients “tested positive for HIV”, until nurses found out the truth, Dr. Johnson was playing an April fools joke on all his patients.

Dokubo, Others Meet Over Buhari’s Victory

A former Niger-Delta militant, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, says with the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan, he and other militants might be forced to ‘return to creeks.’

According to Punchng.com, the ex-militant spoke through his spokesperson, Rex Anighoro, saying, it was unfair that the minorities were being emasculated by the majority ethnic groups.

Police Disperse Ekiti APC Lawmakers With Teargas

According to National Mirror, the 16 returnee members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ekiti State House of Assembly were dispersed with teargas while the Complex was sealed off on the orders of the police.
