Hmmm, it seems the fight against Boko Haram/terrorism is far from being won, as report say Cameroon actually paid the terror group a whooping $400,000 in ransom, and some significant  supply of arms and ammunition for the release of Akaoua Babiana, wife of the Vice Prime Minister of Cameroon, Amadou Ali, and other hostages, including 10 Chinese construction workers.

Part of the deal for the release which was struck 3 days ago, after 4 months in captivity, will also see the release of 4 commanders of the sect in Cameroonian jail.

Chadian President, Idris Deby who has has long been suspected of having links with Boko Haram is said to have been instrumental in the negotiation.

Though, Cameroon has denied the information as false.

We will know the truth....soon enough...
