Unlike Nigeria, Ghana has a relatively stable power supply. But in recent times, Ghana seems to be experiencing severe power shortages, from Accra to its second largest city, Kumasi.
On Wednesday, hundreds of elderly women and men started demonstrating in Kumasi over the electricity shortages in the country.
According to BBC.COM. they were claiming that their children are not able to look after them because the power problem is affecting their ability to earn a living.
The best part of it is that they also complained that it is causing an increase in teenage pregnancies in their neighborhood.
