"Big Brother Africa – The Chase" came to a close Sunday, August 25, 2013 after the final five housemates had spent 91 days in the house. The host, IK Osakioduwa showed off his stellar dance moves as he made quite an entrance in his 'suit & tie'. The finale show saw performances from Ice Prince Zamani and a surprise comeback performance from ex-housemate, Sulu and was full of a lot of interesting twists and turns. You definitely shouldn't have missed it.
The Nigerian housemates, Melvin and Beverly were the first to be booted out of 'The Chase' and Ghana's Elikem took the third spot, leaving Zambia's Cleo and Namibia's Dillish to face off for the Grand Prize.
In the end, the beautiful Dillish Matthews, the Namibian Housemate, took home the whopping prize of $300,000. But, she wasn't the only winner of the night, Ghana's Elikem took home the prize of the "Most Romantic Housemate" for his gesture, right ahead of Zimbabwe's Hakeem.
Elikem's Most Romantic Gesture prize package is as follows:
- a five-night, all expenses paid stay in a luxury room at the Sarova White Sands Hotel in Mombasa, Kenya with anyone he chooses to take.
- two return air tickets courtesy of Rwanda Air as well as spending money.
- The total prize package is USD 10 000.
Elikem, who had been Evicted from The Chase quickly said he would be sharing this prize with his lady love Pokello.
